1. I don't want a website at the moment, can NISA secure my domain name?
Yes we can, simply email us with a choice of names you are interested in and we'll let you know which ones are available or make alternative suggestions if your favourite name has already been taken.
You don't have to purchase your name through NISA we can simply inform you if your name is available if you choose.
2. OK, NISA have secured my domain name, I still don't want a website so what happens now?
As you are not ready for a full blown website at the moment we will provide a holding web page for you free of charge showing your company name, logo and contact details. This page will be displayed whenever your domain name is entered and we will store the page for you.
So that you can take advantage of email even if you don't have a site we will also provide you with email addresses in the form of anyname@nameofwebsite.com/co.uk and forward email sent to this address on to you.
When you are ready to have a website we will be pleased to discuss it with you but you are under no obligation whatsoever.
3. I've already got a website but it needs a makeover. Will NISA do this?
Yes. Simply email us the address of your site and we'll have a look for you and give you our ideas on how the site can be improved. If you like our ideas simply let us know and we can discuss it further. If you have ideas of your own on the changes you would like, just let us know.
4. You've built my site and we're moving offices, what are you going to charge me to update my site with the new contact details?
Text changes to existing pages are included within the NISA Hosting package so if you change your address or telephone number for example, we will update your site with your new details free of charge.
5. I'm thinking about going ahead with a site but I don't want a hard sell. How will NISA handle this?
No problem, just email us your details and we'll discuss your requirements either by email, telephone or by visiting you. Either way you are under absolutely no obligation, it's entirely up to you.
6. I would like a website, what should I do now?
If you have any specific ideas regarding the way your site will look, simply let us know or you can leave it all to us. You will need to provide us with any graphics, for example your company logo, any photographs or images you would like on your site together with the textual content. We can help you out with this if necessary. If you don't have your images in electronic format, simply provide us with the originals and we will convert them into electronic format for you.
The most important thing is to make certain that you are happy with the finished product.
7. Where will my site be stored?
We can host your site for you. Within our NISA Hosting package we provide web space to store your site, unlimited email addresses in the form of anyname@nameofwebsite.com/co.uk, we will perform a search engine submission and monitoring program throughout the year and you will have access to live website statistics so you can track the number of unique visitors to your site 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
Amendments to existing pages within the site are also included within our package so there are no additional costs to you if you would like images or prices altered for example.
8. How will potential customers find my site?
The majority of people use search engines to find what they are looking for on the Internet. We will register your site with the major search engines, at no additional cost to you, within our annual hosting package. We also monitor how visitors are finding your site to ensure the site is being found by your expected audience.
It is important to carry out an ongoing program of search engine submission but not to overdo it as some search enigines penalise sites for this, that is why we re-register your site during every fourth month. During this time we may suggest to you that we alter specific pages within the site to optimize it further and enhance your search engine rankings - again there is no additional charge for this.
Although we cannot guarentee that your site will be listed with all search engines or the position that your site will appear in the results, every effort is made to create sites that are search engine friendly and ensure that visitors find you using the words and phrases you expect.
9. NISA doesn't maintain our website, will you analyse our site to see how many visitors we get?
No problem, we can produce Enhanced Graphical Website Statistics reports for you to show the number of visitors and which search engines, keywords and search phrases vistors to your site use. All we need are the logfiles for the period you would like analysed. Simply call or email us for more specific information and costs.
